An app to help clinicians and patients identify potential allergens in commonly prescribed dermatological topical treatments has been developed by a team of dermatology doctors and residents in Southampton. 

DermMed Scan is a progressive web app designed to help clinicians and patients with allergic contact dermatitis identify and avoid allergens in commonly prescribed topical dermatological medications. It provides an accessible reference to support clinicians in selecting suitable treatments and helps patients avoid ingredients they have been identified as being allergic to on patch testing.
